Much Wenlock celebrates

Wenlock Festival president Alan Henn welcomed supporters and members to a drinks and nibbles party to mark the launch of this year’s Wenlock Festival, which will be a particularly special event with the Olympic spotlight firmly shining on the town in the run-up to London2012. Tickets for this year’s festival go on sale next month, with a feast of entertainments lined up including a headline act featuring Gabrielle Drake and John Challis and an outdoor performance on the Church Green of The Merry Wives of Windsor.
